                           Adam Rea 3

M.O.M - Adam Rea

Team - Alex Gill, Ollie Spink, Luke Carroll, Owen Lloyd, Seb Douglas, Brett Ballard, Tom Eaton, Dale Goddard, Adam Rea and Ciaran Ginty.

Managers Report - Only having 10 boys available it was always going to be tough. When Adam Rea headed against the crossbar I knew it was going to be one of those days. We went 3-0 down the first half due to sloppy defending and lack of concentration. We all looked very tired and struggled to get things going. We conceded a 4th goal and that seemed to get us going, but with us 4 goals down it left us with a mountain to climb. Adam Rea scored a superb hat-trick with his power and pace, we ran out of time but much better second half. That wraps up our season.  A big thank you to all the boys for their efforts over the season. I hope that next season will be played with more consistency.

Ciaran Ginty

M.O.M - All 14 players

Team of the Day - Nick Brown, Ollie Spink, Luke Carroll, Owen Lloyd, Brett Ballard, Jake Young, Seb Douglas, Steve Keay, Tom Eaton, Dale Goddard, Adam Rea, Alex Gill, Ciaran Ginty, Harry Burchell

Managers Report - AWESOME!.....without doubt our best performance of the season. Every boy gave 120% from the first whistle to the last whistle. Brintons had not dropped any points for 2 years so what a way to nearly end the season. Chances fell to both sides and was any-ones game. The final outcome was a fair one. What an exciting end to end game. The only disappointing part of the match was Steve Keay fell funny and broke his wrist in 2 places. We all wish Steve a speedy recovery.
WELL DONE BOYS. HARD WORK AND SELF BELIEVE GETS YOUR REWARDS.

                               Adam Rea
M.O.M - Luke Carroll

Team of the Day - Nick Brown, Ollie Spink, Alex Gill, Luke Carroll, Owen Lloyd, Brett Ballard, Steve Keay, Seb Douglas, Tom Eaton, Jake Young, Ciaran Ginty, Dale Goddard, Adam Rea

Managers Report - Rode our luck for the first 20 minutes with Kiddy hitting the woodwork 3 times. We went a goal down due to a mix up with defender and goal keeper. We all gave our all and made it difficult for Kiddy. Just after half time Adam Rea equallized with a fine solo effort. We had a few good chances to take the lead but never converted. We then went another goal behind with another mix up in defence. Kiddy wrapped the game up with a freak goal. Credit to the boys we kept going to the final whistle not making easy and playing with pride. Steve Keay, Luke Carroll, Jake Young, Adam Rea and Ollie Spink all having great games.

                                   Dale Goddard

M.O.M -  Steve Keay

Team of the Day - Nick Brown, Ollie Spink, Alex Gill, Luke Carroll, Owen Lloyd, Harry Burchell, Seb Douglas, Brett Ballard, Jake Young, Steve Keay, Tom Eaton, Dale Goddard, Adam Rea, Ciaran Gint.

Managers Report - Every player gave 110% and I couldn't ask no more. We conceded 2/3 soft goals which was disappointing. Dale Goddard scored a screamer. Steve Keay was man of the match who worked his socks off up and down the pitch.

M.O.M -Adam Rea

Team of the Day - Nick Brown, Harry Burchell, Luke Carroll, Owen Lloyd, Jake Young, Ollie Spink, Seb Douglas, Tom Eaton, Steve Keay, Dale Goddard, Adam Rea, Alex Gill.

Managers Report - Probably our best performance of the season. Long overdue. We kept the ball quite well and worked hard for each other. Our finishing was top class. Although we road our luck a lot Ferndale had good chances, but luck was on our side. Well done boys.

M.O.M - Adam Rea

Team of the Day - Nick Brown, Alex Gill, Harry Burchell, Ollie Spink, Luke Carroll, Owen Lloyd, Brett Ballard, Seb Douglas, Jake Young, Tom Eaton, Steve Keay, Dale Goddard, Ciaran Ginty, Adam Rea

Managers Report - Score line flattered Nunnery. It was a very close game with Nunnery taking their chances and Westbury missing theirs. Westbury worked very hard and another day it could have been a different outcome.

Dale Goddard

M.O.M - Nick Brown

Team of the Day - Nick Brown, Ollie Spink, Luke Carroll, Owen Lloyd, Jake Young, Seb Douglas, Tom Eaton, Brett Ballard, Steve Keay, Adam Rea, Dale Goddard, Harry Burchell, Ciaran Ginty.

Managers Report - End to end action, thought it was going to be our day when Nick Brown was in fine form and looked as if he was not going to be beaten. He made 2 top class saves in the first half. Goal-less the first half we knew that 1 goal would be the decider and half way through the second half we scored first with a well made goal with Adam Rea causing big problems and putting in a deep cross to the oncoming Steve Keay who headed back across goal for Dale Goddard to hit home. We then conceded straight after with an own goal. We then switched off to a quick free kick where they crossed the ball in for a tap in. On the day the better side won. Although we worked hard we still gave the ball away to easy. Good luck to Worcester Colts in the Semi Final.

                            Dale Goddard
                            Seb Douglas
M.O.M - Seb Douglas

Team of the Day - Alex Gill, Nick Brown, Ollie Spink, Harry burchell, Luke Carroll, Brett Ballard, Jake Young, Seb Douglas, Adam Rea, Tom Eaton, Owen Lloyd, Ciaran Ginty, Dale Goddard, Stevie Keay

Managers Report - Got off to a flyer with Dale Goddard hammering the ball into the roof of the net from close range within the first ten minutes. We then kept giving the ball away cheaply and got punished. We stood off and got ourselves in all kinds off trouble. By half time we were 3-1 down. Second half was slightly better than the first half. With a great run down the left hand side from Adam Rea who pulled the ball back for Seb Douglas to side foot past the keeper and two defenders. Although there were great performances from Seb Douglas, Luke Carroll, Brett Ballard and Adam Rea, we are still not playing together as a team. The only plus was we did not give in and tried to salvage a point. Our problem is there are too many breaks between matches and can not get any rhythm going.

M.O.M - Luke Carroll

Team - Nick Brown, Harry Burchell, Luke Carroll, Ollie Spink, Brett Ballard, Adam Rea, Jake Young, Owen Lloyd, Ciaran Ginty, Tom Eaton, Dale Goddard, Steve Keay

Managers Report - Again another poor performance, we appear to be playing with no confidence in ourselves, we all struggled to control the ball and get a foot on it. Passing and movement was poor. All the basics of football have gone at the moment. We will get back to hard working after Christmas and get the team back to how we were a few weeks ago. Adam Rea scored a fantastic goal with a couple of minutes remaining. It took until the 67th minute before we lifted our game. We should have still come away with all 3 points as we still had 2 to 3 good chances. Luke Carroll had a very good game mopping up at the back.

Team - Nick Brown, Alex Gill, Ollie Spink, Luke Carroll, Brett Ballard, Harry Burchell, Jake Young, Adam Rea, Tom Eaton, Owen Lloyd, Dale Goddard, Steve Keay, Seb Douglas, Ciaran Ginty

Managers Report - without doubt our worst display this season. the result says it all, we let ourselves down very badly. we were second best to everything all over the pitch. tom Eaton ran his heart out trying to get the team going. we started very well the first 10 minutes and then stopped. Jordan Fox came back to haunt us with a fine performance and a hat-trick. We did score a brilliant goal through Adam Rea with some fine one touch football linking up well with Harry Burchell. A game I would like to forget pretty quickly and hope we never perform like that again.

M.O.M  Brett Ballard

Team - Nick Brown, Alex Gill, Ollie Spink, Luke Carroll, Brett Ballard, Ciaran Ginty, Tom Eaton, Adam Rea, Jake Young, Owen Lloyd, Dale Goddard, Steve Keay, Harry Burchell, Jack Rowley

Managers Report - Never got going at all. We had a couple of weeks lay off and we played like total strangers. Although the weather conditions were poor we did keep going. We went behind to a well taken goal. Brett Ballard and Tom Eaton were outstanding. Westbury scored with 10 minutes to go. Fine work by Dale Goddard down the wing who then crossed the ball in to find Ollie Spink who had lost his marker, to hammer the ball home from 8 yards giving the keeper no chance at all. On the day a fair result.

Scorpions 0  Westbury Youth Under 13's 7

M.O.M  Jake Young

Team -Nick Brown, Seb Douglas, Luke Carroll, Brett Ballard, Adam Rea, Owen Lloyd, Ollie Spink, Ciaran Ginty, Jake Young, Tom Eaton, Jack Rowley, Dale Goddard, Steve Keay

Managers Report - A one sided game where we played well 1st half and eased off second half.
Should of been a lot more only missed chances again. Scorpions goal keeper made a string of fine saves. In the last minute the up right stopped the home side from scoring. We went out to keep a clean sheet and did just that. Good habits we want to get use to. Some more great individual performances. Jake Young, Luke Carroll outstanding.

M.O.M Steve Keay

Managers Report - A game we totally dominated. Always in control although we went a goal behind through a penalty. We showed great character and kept pushing. Every body worked hard for one another. Well pleasing as we lost 1-0 to them 2 weeks ago.

Westbury Celtic Youth 6 Brintons Athletic 0

M.O.M Brett Ballard

Team -Bick Brown, Alex Gill, Harry Burchell, Luke Carroll, Brett Ballard, Ollie Spink, Seb Douglas, Jake Young, Dale Goddard, Adam Rea, Tom Eaton, Owen Lloyd, Steven Keay, Ciaran Ginty

Managers Report - No doubt our best performance of the season. We looked strong all over the pitch and it wasn't too long before Tom Eaton hit a rocket into the top corner. Dale Goddard then scored with a well struck shot across the keeper. Athletic never gave up and threatened a couple of times. Brett Ballard latched on to a poor clearance and hammered it home. Just before half time Steve Keay turned and hit one giving the keeper no chance. By this time we were oozing with confidence. Second half came and got a little scrappy until Dale Goddard ran through and hit a good shot only for Athletic keeper to parry his shot and dale to follow up with a tap in. To round up the game Seb Douglas was in the right place at the right time and hammered the ball home from two yards out. All round brilliant performance from every player. Hopefully got our bad games out the way.

M.O.M - Dale Goddard

Team - Alex Gill, Nick Brown, Harry Burchell, Luke Carroll, Brett Ballard, Adam Rea, Jake Young, Tom Eaton, Dale Goddard, Owen Lloyd, Jack Rowley, Steve Keay, Seb Douglas, Ciaran Ginty

Managers Report - A game we dominated and should have won, but found Cookley goalkeeper in fantastic form with him producing 5 outstanding saves. We looked very comfortable all over the pitch with Dale Goddard running the show. He has struggled to hit the form from last season so hopefully this is the start of some fine performances to come. Steven Keay dealt a major blow 20 minutes into the game when he bravely went for a ball and clashed heads with a Cookley defender. We need to be scoring from all over the pitch. Cookley scored a scrambled goal about 15 minutes from time. A great game of football. It was a great all round performance which we did not deserve to lose.

M.O.M Steven Keay

Team - Nick Brown, Alex Gill, Ollie Spink, Luke Carroll, Brett Ballard, Adam Rea, Harry Burchell, Ciaran Ginty, Jake Young, Dale Goddard, Tom Eaton, Owen Lloyd, Steve Keay, Jack Rowley, Seb Douglas.

Managers Report - Good disciplined performance, never looked in any trouble. Colts keeper made a string of fine saves to deny Steve Keay. It was a scrambled goal with keeper spilling the ball at the feet of Keay. Good all round team performance. Well done, a good result.

Nunnery Wood 3-1 Westbury Celtic Youth U13's
                            Steven Keay

M.O.M Jake Young

Team - Alex Gill, Nick Brown, Ollie Spink, Luke Carroll, Adam Rea, Ciaran Ginty, Dale Goddard, Jake Young, Tom Eaton, Owen Lloyd, Jack Rowley, Steve Keay, Brett Ballard.

Managers Report - A well balanced game could have gone either way. The score line doesn't reflect the game, very even. We defended very well, Ollie, Luke, Adam and Brett. Some great attacking play just never had the luck in front of goal. Jake Young seemed to adapt to his new role with a great show. Well done every body much much better than last week.

Westbury Celtic Youth U13s  1  Mostyn Rangers  1

M.O.M  Harry Burchell

Team - Nick Brown, Alex Gill, Ollie Spink, Luke Carroll, Adam Rea, Harry Burchell, Seb Douglas, Dale Goddard, Tom Eaton, Owen Lloyd, Steve Keay, Ciaran Ginty, Jake Young, Jack Rowley

Managers Report - Started brightly for the first 20 mins. Defended well all game. Great goal from Steve Keay. Then we seemed to blow up. We never got our passing going. Two points dropped in a game we should have won. We can only get better.
