- Slow starting but once we scored through Tom
Eaton we grew in confidence. One goal is never enough and
Ferndale had a couple of good chances to pull level. The
Ferndale goalie was in fine form to deny us on several
efforts. Finally we scored the second goal we had been
pushing for. Adam Rea ran on to a through ball and hammered
home. Some great performances from FAZ, HARRY BURCHELL AND
NICK BROWN.
Report - Slightly undermanned I thought. We were
going to struggle, but the boys proved me wrong yet again.
We took our chances well with superb finishing from dale
goddard (2), Tom eaton (2), Adam Rea (2), Seb Douglas (1)
and Tom Elt (1). With Dale Goddard pulling the strings and
Adam Rea running them ragged, there was only going to be
one outcome. The rest of the boys worked very hard and
made it difficult for Mostyn. Well done again!!! Keep the
effort going.

Carroll, Brett Ballard, Elliot Dale, Seb Douglas, Tom
Elt, Dale Goddard, Owen Lloyd, Tom Eaton, Adam Rea, Tom
Fazackley, Alex Brewer, Harry Burchell
Report - Westbury started very brightly and
dominating the first half. Tom Eaton scoring two great
goals. We closed down quickly not allowing colts to
settle on the ball. Westbury looked dangerous on every
attack. Going in at half time 2-0 up I could not praise
them enough. Second half was a different story. We got
very sloppy and casual, disorganised and looked a
different side from the first half. We allowed colts in
to score and the panic set in. Marking was poor and
confidence very shaky. Adam Rea scored a third with a
fine solo effort. Colts then pushed causing big problems
and it was not long until they scored a second. It
became very edgy and Westbury were pinned in their own
half for most of the second half. Colts then equalised
with 10 minutes to go. No more than they deserved, we
went to sleep. Adam Rea had a great chance to seal it
with a last minute effort, the chance he has been
scoring for fun, but it wasn't to be today. I saw this
as two points dropped and disappointed with the second
half performance. Hope we can learn from this.
Man of the Match - Alex Gill
Team of the Day - Nick Brown, Alex Gill, Luke
Carroll, Brett Ballard, Seb Douglas, Elliot Dale, Ollie
Spink, Owen Lloyd, Dale Goddard, Tom Eaton, Adam Rea
Report - Nothing positive in 80 minutes of
football. Second best to everything. A total lack of
commitment. Men against boys. We really let ourselves
down and got what we deserved. Things can only get
better best forget about this game as I have never seen
a display like it. Well done Alex Gill the only one to
show any bottle.

Squad of the Day - Nick Brown, Ollie Spink, Luke
Carroll, Brett Ballard, Tom Fazackerley, Seb Douglas,
Dale Goddard, Tom Elt, Tom Eaton, Elliot Dale, Owen
Lloyd, Adam Rea, Harry Burchell, Alex Gill, Alex Brewer
Report - A good disciplined performance. Defended
well, Dale Goddard ran threw and chipped the keeper for
our first goal. Went a little scrappy for 15 minutes.
Adam Rea scored two late goals. Alex Brewer hit the
cross bar with a fine effort. Westbury came out a
comfortable winner in the end.

Eaton, Adam Rea, Luke Carroll, Seb Douglas, Alex Brewer,
Tom Fazackerley
Report - With
poor weather conditions and unfamiliar turf this was
never going to be an easy game, but this said the boys
went out and gave it there all. Kiddy started well and
scored two early goals. This only led the boys to fight
back with a couple of chances going narrowly wide, until
Dale managed to find the back of net through a strong
strike from outside the box. The boys held Kiddy through
out with strong performances from Nick who made some
great saves and Ollie holding the defence with a string
of challenges. The boys began to tire towards the end
and Kiddy were able to capitalise. Well done boys.

Team of the Day - Nick Brown, Ollie Spink, Tom
Fazackerley, Brett Ballard, Elliot Dale, Alex Gill, Tom
Elt, Dale Goddard, Owen Lloyd, Seb Douglas, Adam Rea,
Harry Burchell, Alex Brewer, Luke Carroll
Report - A game of two halves where Westbury were
the better side first 40 minutes, but unable to turn
possession into goals. Second half we struggled to raise
our game and that allowed Brintons to push on. The game
was there to be won but didn't seem to want it. Much
better than the last time we met, but should have got a
point out the game. Brintons scored half way through
second half.

Report - Dominated the game from start to finish.
Should have scored a lot more goals with the amount of
chances we created. A lot of fine performances through
out the team. Conner Macrow had a great debut for the
club. Lots of pluses and a pleasure to watch. Well done
boys.

Douglas, Dale Goddard, Connor Macrow, Tom Eaton, Adam
Rea, Owen Lloyd, Alex Gill, Alex Brewer
Report - Very windy conditions, it was going to be
difficult and our first half performance proved that. We
went ahead with a great strike from Adam Rea. Kinver
levelled with a big kick out from their keeper which
looped over Nick Brown. Second half we got sharper and
neater and it was not long before we started to
dominate. Adam Rea ran them ragged with his power and
pace. He finished off his good performance with a fine
hatrick. Dale Goddard finished off the match with a
brilliant solo effort.

Man of the Match - Elliot Dale
Report - Dominated from start to finish. Adam Rea
scored his second hat-trick in 2 weeks. Just his shear
strength and fine finishing. Nice to see different names
on the score sheet. Dale Goddard set up most of the
goals. A very good display from man of the Elliot Dale.
Looked neat and tidy throughout the game. Brett Ballard
gave away a penalty in the last few minutes. Nick Brown
got a hand to it but couldn't keep it out.

Man of the Match - Dale Goddard
Team of the Day - Alex Gill, Harry Burchell,

report - Only having the bare eleven, I thought
it was going to be very hard. We started the first 10
minutes very sloppy gifting Coombs Wood 2 great
chances in which they did not take. After that we got
to grips and ran the show creating chance after
chance. Some fine passing allowed Tom Elt to pop up
and score. Great performances from Connor, Ollie,
Harry, Elliot and Dale. Because we never took our
chances Coombs Wood never stopped working and making
things difficult. Connor picked the ball up in his own
box and ran the length of the pitch and crossed the
ball for Tom Eaton to step over and Dale Goddard to
slot home.

Man of the Match - Harry Burchell
Team - Nick Brown, Alex Gill, Luke Carroll,
Brett Ballard, Ollie Spink, Elliot Dale, Conner
MacCrow, Tom Elt, Dale Goddard, Tom Eaton, Adam Rea,
Seb Douglas, Harry Burchell
Report - One to forget as we were so unfit and 5 yards
slower than Colts. Christmas hang over with food and
Playstations. Harry Burchell came off the bench
to give a 110% performance, getting in their faces and
breaking up play. The only time we strung 4 passes
together we scored. A well struck shot from Tom Eaton
giving the keeper no chance. The boys need to take it
upon themselves to keep themselves active and fit and
not let their hard work and fitness levels suffer.

Man of the Match - Nick Brown
Team of the Day - Nick Brown, Ollie Spink, Harry

Rea, Tom Eaton, Brett Ballard
Report - Never rose to the occasion of the Quater
Final of the County Cup. Our mood at the start of
the game said it all. We were 3 yards slower than
Northside and second best all over the pitch.
Although we took the lead through Adam Rea we still
struggled to get going. Nick Brown made a lot of
fine saves. Pirates equalised through poor marking.
We again went in front from an Elliot Dale free kick
which went straight in. Again we conceded 2 more
sloppy goals. Nick Brown also saved a penalty.
Northside fully deserved their win as we were very
poor.

Tom Eaton
Man of the Match - Dale Goddard
Team of the Day - Alex Gill, Harry Burchell,
Luke Carroll, Brett Ballard, Seb Douglas, Connor
Macrow, Elliot Dale, Dale Goddard, Ollie Spink, Tom
Eaton, Adam Rea
Report - Started the game as we left off last
week. We had no confidence in our own ability, Giving
the ball away so cheaply. Because we never got control
of the ball we were always under pressure. Dale
Goddard tried to get things going but we were limited
to a couple of chances. We were a goal down at half
time. Second half we came out a much more confident
team. We dominated the whole second half, playing some
very neat football. We kept the ball well and won all
our tackles. Great play down the left allowed Tom
Eaton to score a well struck shot, giving the keeper
no chance. Alex Gills handling in goal was top class,
also making a couple of great saves. Adam Rea caught
on to a through ball making no mistake about the
finish. Last few minutes sloppy defending allowed Adam
Rea to latch on to a under hit back pass, where he
slotted home. Much better attitude the second half.
Good fight back. well done boys.
Dale Goddard 2
Adam Rea 1
Man of the Match - Ollie Spink
Team - Alex Gill, Ollie Spink, Luke Carroll,
Brett Ballard, Elliott Dale, Seb Douglas, Tom Elt,
Conner Macrow, Dale Goddard, Adam Rea, Tom Eaton
Report - First half we looked positive going
forward creating some good chances and was not long
before we scored through Dale Goddard. We passed the
ball well carving open at every attack and Dale
Goddard got his second. Adam Rea scored our third just
before Coombswood pulled one back before the break.
Second half we just seemed to play out time not
creating or passing the ball well. Ollie Spink was
outstanding through out the game and well deserved the
man of the match.
Dale Goddard 3
Adam Rea
Tom Eaton
Seb Douglas
Man of the Match - Seb Douglas
Team - Alex Gill, Ollie Spink, Luke Carroll,
Brett Ballard, Elliot Dale, Connor Macrow, Dale Goddard,
Seb Douglas, Tom Eaton, Adam Rea
Report - With only 10 men it was going to be hard
work, but the boys rose to the occasion. It was not long
until Dale Goddard scored. Kinver pulled level not long
after. Adam Rea then went through on his own to put us
2-1 up. Although we looked good at times we did give the
ball away too easy and from being sloppy we conceded a
second just before the break. Second half we came out
and totally dominated the half. Tom Eaton scored a
twenty two yard 1/2 volley which was unstoppable. Dale
Goddard scored his second with a fine move. Dale Goddard
won the ball in his own penalty area played the ball out
quickly and sprinted the length of the pitch to get on
the end of a Adam Rea cross. Seb Douglas rounded off a
man of the match performance with a goal.
Adam Rea 3
Dale Goddard
Connor Macrow
Man of the Match - Dale Goddard
Team of the Day - Nick Brown, Alex Gill, Luke
Carroll, Brett Ballard, Connor Macrow, Ollie Spink, Dale
Goddard, Seb Douglas, Tom Eaton, Adam Rea
Report - Again only 10 men but the lads did
themselves proud. Totally dominated first half with Adam
Rea scoring a hat-trick. His third goal deserves a big
mention as it was an over head scissor kick
(unstoppable). We conceded on the stroke of half time
and went in 3-1 up. Second half we relax and allowed
Northside to press. Dale Goddard and Connor Macrow both
scored well struck goals. At the end we were hanging on
as we still pushed and not got back, leaving big gaps.
For mums and dads it was exciting but for managers a
nail biting finish. A game we should have had wrapped up
but didn't, but a wins a win.
Dale Goddard
Man of the Match - Harry Burchell
Team - Elliot Dale, Alex Gill, Luke Carroll, Owen
Lloyd, Harry Burchell, Ollie Spink, Seb Douglas, Dale
Goddard, Conner Macrow, Tom Eaton, Adam Rea
Report - Painful and very poor, just sums up our
season that when we are bad we are very bad. Another
game to forget quickly. Just one good thing that came
out of the game was that we strung 3/4 passes together
and scored. The final delivery from Tom Eaton was
perfect into the box for Dale Goddard to meet full on
and head home giving the keeper no chance. Harry
Burchell had a good solid performance.
Adam Rea 2
Man of the Match - Adam Rea
Team - Nick Brown, Alex Gill, Luke Carroll, Brett
Ballard, Owen Lloyd, Dale Goddard, Ollie Spink, Seb
Douglas, Adam Rea, Tom Eaton
Report - Again this sums up how we have played and
underachieved this season. We again struggled to do
the basics by giving the ball away cheaply and not
having the will to win it back. Ferndale from the
start seemed right up for it. Nick Brown was given no
chance in goal with very little protection and fine
finishing. Adam Rea worked very hard and ran the
Ferndale defence ragged. But very difficult to turn it
into many goals without any support. He did score 2
great goals for all his efforts. Another bad day at
the office. This game was a double header and leaves
us needing a least a draw against Coombswood in our
final cup game.
Adam Rea
Man of the Match - Luke Carroll
Team - Alex Gill, Ollie Spink, Luke Carroll,
Brett Ballard, Seb Douglas, Elliot Dale, Connor Macrow,
Owen Lloyd, Dale Goddard, Tom Eaton, Adam Rea
Report - We went out with a great attitude and
wanting to play. We did not deserve to lose but just
lacked a bit of quality in the final third. At times
we carved open coombswood and we struck first with the
perfect goal. Adam Rea rounded off a fantastic move
where we passed the ball between several players. We
conceded two goals through not marking tight enough
and basic errors. Luke Carroll was picking up
everything at the back. This should put us through to
the quater finals. Just need a little luck next game.
We played with a great deal of pride.
